In general, this statement means no effort would have achieved without anyone putting work on it. Achievement & glory are like treasures hidden inside an egg, waiting for someone to sit on it and hatch it. also...of coz...do not sit on other ppl eggs too... :P

phew...sotong me...i thought i'm going to haf 2 tests 2morrow...but in the end, found out dat it's next week...hhaa...anyway, i already finish studying for dat test...guess i can relax abit next week...now i'm 1/2way thru my polymer test revision 2morrow...hee...
as i was studying...my player played a very nice anime song from My HiME (HIghly-advance Materializing Equipment), its only the fairy tale. This song is not the main theme song or the neding song, but it really sunk in deep into my heart...Here's the lyrics...

this song started with a musical box intro together with a organ together. in between the song, a volin tune perfectly fits in too. i noticed dat i like sound produced by volin and sexaphone to some extend. although there are some gammer mistakes in the lyrics but overall still a nice song.
at first, i dont really understand the lyrics much until i watched more of the following episodes of the anime. This song describes 12 hime being granted with power to materalise elemental weapons and summon a monster, that is also called their "child". A curse is between placed on them to kill each other's "child" in order to gain more powers and to defeat a monster at the end. however, each time a "child" is kill, the hime will lose a person who is closest to her. that is why they are not allowed to love....
so far till episode 24, 8 "child"s were killed. in other words, only 4 hime were left standing...wat disappoint me most is....they made my favourite hime a lesbian~!~! @!$!@#$#$~!~! :( now, i pity Mai becoz she suffered the fate to witness 2 of her closest person disappear infront of her. yes...2 of them became the closest person of other 2 hime, dat was defeated. Cant wait to watch episode 25, dat i'm downloading now...

:: stress are pressing down on me... ::
oh no...i'll be having 3 tests this coming week...& guess wat...all are my core modules somemore...worse of all, 2 of the tests are actually involved inorganic chemistry...i'm always a loser when it comes to inorganic chemistry...well...mainly is i dun study much inorganic chemistry in my poly...to add on to the pressure...1 is on tues, the other 2 are on wed morning...guess i'll become a walking panda in sch for the next few days...
to view things on the brighter side...the 3rd test is actually polymer test & polymer is my speciality in my poly. also after this week, all my term tests will be over...phew...but for now, i got to dig myself in my textbks...
after this week, i really wanna go catch a movie or go song ktv...any takers? i got a show in mind...haha...interested, pls sms or msn me...

ha...been quite some time the light of inspiration glows in my mind again. achieving a knowledge is mainly depend on self, but not more from others though they do play a part. many ppl can and willing to teach, but sadly not many can or willing learn. dat's why "turned to a deaf ear" is being formed. so in other words, we can only advise others but it's all up to them to see the light.

this started from my childhood when i was doing with my blind grandmother. whenever i got a new toy or something new was being brought into the house, she would ask me to describe to her. i would without fail tell her the colour of the toy. Then one day, i asked myself how is she going to know the colour dat i have told her. Hence, ever since then when being asked the same question, i would bring her hands to feel for the distinctive features of the object and describe to her using words dat can be felt and not be seen only.
behind this story, i learnt something that is when we want to deliver a message across to our receiving party, we should use words and methods that the receiving party can understand. if we use too many big words, the receiver party may think we are trying to show off and the communicate between both party would be broken. this happens quite many times by inexperience teachers.

:: buffet & after actions... ::
last wednesday, i went out with my army friends, 3 of them. they were one of the many greatest pals i have in my unit life. w/o their help, my life in unit would not be so smooth sailing. it been as long as 2 years since we met, but i was since being remembered and contacted by them. :)
to my astonishment, one of them actually became shockingly slim. his secret recipe is to choose the right food to eat and exercise regularly. i believe this method is the hardest but most healthy method to slim down. pills and operations indeed is the fastest way to see the results but it is not totally safe. i believe he lost abt 20-30+kg over this period. as for the other two, i see no obvious changes in them, more or less the same i guess.
4 of us went to a japanese restaurant at bukit timah. we had a buffet lunch, dat cost $30. to me, it is really value for money. coz when my mood is right, i can really eat alot of food. lucky for me, yup yup...my stomach was elastic as usual...haha...we ordered many many plates of sashimi (salmon, tuna, mackeral, cuttlefish etc). yeah~! then i would order my favorite sushi of all, roe eggs. the sushi dere was really bit-size, just rite to enter and outwhelm my mouth with the taste, but not the size like common sushi. the sushi really dissolved in my mouth..yum yum...as for tempura, hee...my favourite was ebi (prawn) tempura. next, i ate alot of tori karaage (fried chicken). oh, i like fried chicken alot and kfc is one of them. as for teriyaki chicken, we also ordered quite a few plates.
mine mine...it's really gd and very much better than the common few japanese resturant dat i often visit. this resturant brought my experience to japanese food higher up to another level. dat is why i say $30 is really value for.
right after the buffet, i proposed to them to go and get a water bottle dat i have been eyeing on since last yr june. the venue is actually the visitor centre rite at bukit timah hill carpark. since one of us is driving, so it is quite easy for us to go dere. after i bought the bottle, guess wat one of them proposed. haha...climb the hill...since there was no objections, so we did proceed with his idea. ha...i really think it is quite a crazy idea but i like it...haha...carrying a heavy stomach up bukit timah hill. at last...we reach the submit without much problems...really 'pei fu' us to be able to do dat...haha...
hee...now as i am typing this out...i am actually thinking of going for a KTV session...the last time i went was on new yr day...
