:: Thoughts of the day... ::

it's been quite long since i'm doing thoughts in here...

i'm going to discuss abt 1 of the impt survival skills in life we all been have, able to tell the difference or the be observant. when we juz barely learn how to move around, we been exposed to all sorts of tools to assist us to equip with the basic skills to tell the difference. when we were merely a child, these tools are none other than toys. a very common toy like such, is a box with holes of different shapes (star, square, circle and more) and a few blocks of the same shape. this toy enables infants to exercise their abilities to feel, think and observe.

in a general view, with it comes for us to be sensitive, we need to depend on at least 1 of the 5 senses (see, smell, taste, listen, touch). Colours, shapes and surface interaction with light are easily differentiated by our eyes. Our noses are able to tell us whether a scent is strong or weak and nice or odor. our tongues are capable of detecting 5 types of taste; sweet, sour, bitter and salty and umami(hmm... wat happened to spicy?). Our ears capture sound and sort it accordingly. The free nerve endings in our skin are sensitive to mechanical, thermal or noxious stimulation. All the above 5 senses requires a storing and processing object, that is our brain. if we encounter anything foreign and freshly received by our brain, we would try to correlate or match with one or few references in our storage bank. when no match could be found, we may consider getting more information and to study it further.

cooking is 1 of the useful skills in life which made us use all the 5 senses, which made it so interesting to me. if got chance, do go and learn it... btw, learning how to cook all by urself, will lie a path filled with failures... do choose a gd mentor ba... :)

i did a simple test to find out what my lucky charm could be... ironically, it's something that i least expect to be... so cruel...

---
Rabbit's Foot
There's just something mysterious about you when it comes to luck. That's why your good luck charm is a rabbit's foot.

Originating in the voodoo back waters of the bayou, the rabbit's foot is extremely powerful and brings good luck to all (except rabbits).

Some say that the rabbit must be killed during a full moon by a cross-eyed person and the left hind foot must be carried in the left jacket pocket for it to be truly lucky. However this is not always the case. Given the bunny's reputation for fertility, you might get lucky at the mere thought of a rabbit's foot.

Regardless of your ritual, carrying a colorful rabbit's foot is a constant reminder that you are lucky, and have great things to look forward to.

so will anyone buy me 1? lol...
