:: Out of the box.... ::

this is a new topic in this blog... all these r my suggestions which could improve our surroundings... if my suggestions is similiar to any ideas from other source, it is juz by chance...

background:
very often we see buttons inside the life; the lvl no. buttons, door close, door open ans emergency door... however, is the "door close" button really necessary?

proposal:
if the electronic programming of the lvl no. buttons includes a door close function, then the "door close" button can be scrapped...

benefits:
- reduce the usage of materials; button, wires, press sensitive sensor etc...
- less manufacturing and setup time

disadvantages:
- users (like Lydia and Shiying... :P ) may find it slightly more confusing to operate such a lift... users may wait for the auto-close function to run, rather than to press the lvl no. button to re-generate the door clsoing button...
- this proposal is totally unfit for old lifts without a safety door open function, whereby able to detect an object or person who may lie in between the path of the door. 2 existing devices are commonly used; pressure sensitive and IR-sensors...
