background:
sometimes i wonder why a mouse (a computer input device used to control the movement and actions of a cursor) is constructed to be like a soap bar or mouse-shaped. for newbies, it would take them quite some time to familiarise themselves in using a mouse effectively. very often, the older generations could take up to week to master the movement of a mouse well...

proposed idea:
i always thought that a pen-like device should be used over the convention mouse... where the tip of the pen has a pressure sensitive roller(like roller mouse) or light sensitive device(like optical mouse). as for the left and right click buttons, can be positioned at where the thumb and first finger rest on the pen.

the advantages:
- since the operating style is almost the same as a mouse, then ppl who r illerate to computers, can pick up the usage of this pen-like mouse more easily...
- this pen-like mouse will be more sensitive and accurate than the conventional mouse, in terms of drawing and graphics usages. hence, this device can double up as graphic pen...
- less materials will be used, therefore more environmental friendly...
